Happy Halloween

We've all been joining in, in a variety of  ways, with the celebration of the day that is Halloween.  Top marks must go to our resident witch (in the nicest possible sense..), Sue Williams, team leader in one of our houses who's been wearing a fabulous outfit complete with green feather eyelashes and has led a fun-packed day for the children and young people staying here over the school and college holidays.

Our Fundraising, HR, IT and Family Link teams held a spooky lunchtime get together complete with a Halloween Bake-Off where basically our Fundraising staff baked and our IT team gave feedback on taste, texture and presentation.  IT Ben (aka Mary Berry) and IT Chris (Paul Hollywood), together with HR Denise (Nigella?..)  were unable to find any soggy bottoms but did point out some rather disappointing icing!

And then it was the Seashell Halloween Quiz....rather difficult that one, no Googling allowed !!

Our Sensory Garden has become a Spooky Garden thanks to the decorations hanging in the trees and bushes and our houses are a vision, decorated in orange, green and black.  Many a pumpkin has been spotted!   Later on this evening we have the CADS Halloween Disco which should be great fun.

Roll on Bonfire Night......
