Seashell Trust have invited In Control to host a workshop on personal budgets for children and young people with Education, Health and Care (EHC) plans. The event is open to parents, carers, family members and professionals from across the country, and will address the following questions:

• what are personal budgets, and what they are not - The Code of Practice for SEN & D, what is says about personal budgets and how do they work
• what they can mean for children, young people and families - hearing from family members and young people
• how they can fit in to EHC Plans - hearing from services who are supporting families to use personal budgets
• where to find out more - what your Local Offer should be telling you and what other resources are there
