Valuing Employment Now Event

Date:
25th June 2015

Many young people at Seashell would like to enter work, and successful completion of work experience placements is an invaluable tool for them to demonstrate their ability to contribute to the workplace. We work in partnership with a range of employers to provide supported work experience including an adapted supported internship, with some students progressing into employment at the end of their course. Thanks to grant funding from United Way Worldwide, on behalf of BNY Mellon, our job coach supports students entering work for six months after they graduate, and we offer information, advice and support to all our partner organisations to make sure the arrangement is mutually beneficial.

Join us on Thursday, 25th June, 4-6p.m., to celebrate, share information and lessons learned, and reflect on how we can improve. With speakers from Seashell Trust, existing employers and our job coach, we hope that this event will provide a useful introduction to our supported work experience programme as well as answering any questions you may have about work experience, progression into supported employment, accessible recruitment and management and more.

To book your free place, please email katherine.watson@seashelltrust.org.uk, call 0161 610 0151 or complete our online booking form.
