Seashell students are guests of honour at store opening

A food store had some very special guests to cut the ribbon when it reopened after a rebuild.

The staff at M&S Food on Alderley Road in Wilmslow have chosen to support Seashell Trust.

To celebrate the new shop at the BP Garage, they invited three students from the trust to be guests of honour at the grand reopening.

Fay Harper, deputy store manager at BP M&S, said: “The team voted on which charity they wished to support. We have started with standard counter collection tubs but will start running fundraising activities in the new year. Debbie, the store manager, thought the young man who cut the ribbon was adorable, she took a special liking to him. Emma, a duty manager, enjoyed the sparkle the students gave to the opening. Meeting some of the students really made an impact on our team members, I hope they will visit often.”
