Painter jumps at chance to skydive for Seashell

Robert Watson is looking forward to a charity parachute jump for Seashell Trust.

A painter and decorator is jumping at the chance to throw himself out of a plane to raise money for Seashell students.

Robert Watson, 43, of Chelford Road, Sale, works for Sodexo at the AstraZeneca's Macclesfield Campus and is planning his skydive in Whitchurch, Shropshire in July.

Robert said: “This will be my first jump from a plane, but luckily I’ll be attached to an instructor. This is something I’ve always wanted to do. I’m very excited to be doing the challenge, and raising funds for a deserving charity make it all worthwhile.”

He added: “I will be going with my wife Georgina who kindly put my name forward when Sodexo were looking for volunteers. I jumped at the chance! I’m looking to raise £500 but whatever is raised will be put to good use by the trust.”
