Law Print's £10,000 gift will help us pack students' lives full of fun

Morven Law and Carole Bayne from Law Print and Packaging meet Seashell Trust students Reims and Cayman Norton

We got a great early Christmas present for all wrapped up from a Stockport packaging firm.

Morven Law and Carole Bayne from Law Print and Packaging, based in Hazel Grove, visited our Christmas fair to hand over a cheque for £10,000.

Seashell Trust runs the Royal School and College Manchester, providing a secure and happy environment for profoundly disabled children and young people live and learn.

The level of support our students require is very expensive and we rely heavily on donations to help give them a wonderful and interesting life.

Carole Bayne, from Law Print and Packaging, said: “We support one charity each year, voted by the staff, and give a company donation. We chose Seashell Trust as it helps young people with disabilities. We prefer donating to local charities rather than bigger corporate organisations as we feel they get the benefit of this donation straightaway.”

Wendy Bray, from Seashell Trust, said: “We are so grateful to Law Print and Packaging for choosing Seashell Trust to benefit from their donation this year. It will have a huge impact on the support we can give our children and young people and therefore, what they can achieve. Heartfelt thanks to all the staff there.”
