ADP's angel tree makes our Christmas wishes come true

All the Seashell Trust students' Christmas dreams are coming true – thanks to a Cheadle company.
Business outsourcers Automatic Data Processing Ltd asked us what presents our students would most like to receive this year.
All our young people have significant learning difficulties compounded by a variety of additional disabilities including deafness, blindness, deafblindness, autism, physical disability and a number of rare syndromes.
Seashell Trust fundraiser Wendy Bray said: “The students really love toys that stimulate all their senses. On their wishlist were light-up footballs, music, games and lots of playmobile toys. The kind staff at ADP are helping to make Christmas very special for some very special children.”
Staff tied these wishes to their company Christmas tree and have each chosen a tag from which to buy.
Hayley Anderson, from ADP, said: “This year want to bring some Christmas cheer to our local community.
“We have an angel Christmas tree in reception. On the tree are a number of gift tags each detailing a gift on someone’s Christmas wish list.
“Tags have been added to the tree as the week progresses. By helping yourself to a tag from the Christmas tree, you are committing to purchasing the described item for a local person.”
