PZ Cussons raises £8,000: challenge yourself to feel fab too!

Do you feel like the motivation for your new year's resolution is fading a bit in February?
How about giving yourself something to aim for and maybe get some friends or colleagues involved to help keep you going?
That is what long-term Seashell Trust supporters PZ Cussons did when they dedicated last year to ‘Feel Fab for 2016’.
Not only did staff get together to take on a series of challenges in 12 months of getting fit but they had the added motivation of raising money for Seashell Trust.
Among all their activities, they entered teams in Rough Runner, Great North Run and had Seashell's biggest ever squad in the Great Manchester Run.
They have raised their fitness levels and £8,000 for the Cheadle Hulme charity which provided residential care and short breaks for children and young adults with complex learning disabilities, and education through its special school and college.
And the challenges aren't over as PZ Cussons' employees are planning to do it all over again and even run the London Marathon for Seashell in April, the first time the trust will have representatives in the race.
PZ Cussons’ Inner Heart Champion Abi Lomax said: “We’ve been running Feel Fab events for a number of years and our employees love getting involved and donating their time and energy to supporting local charities. Seashell Trust is one of our corporate charities and one that our employees have taken to our heart. We know the money we raise will make a real difference.”
There are loads of exciting ways to challenge yourself. Seashell Trust has had fundraisers walk the Great Wall of China, cycle across Canada and swim Lake Windermere.
Jo Barber, from Seashell Trust, said: “We can put you in touch with organised events and help set up fundraising webpages, all you need to do is put the training in and get as much support as possible.”
Make this month Fundraising February and set yourself and your team a challenge of a lifetime. You will be surprised how much you can achieve!
