Way with words spells out sponsorship for Lewis

A former Seashell swimmer has made a splash with his spelling to raise money.

Lewis Smith, a pupil at The Ryleys prep school in Alderley Edge, took part a sponsored spelling test and nominated Seashell Trust as his chosen charity.

His way with words garnered a fanstastic £40.

Wendy Bray, fundraiser at Seashell Trust, said: “We feel so lucky that Lewis chose to donate the funds he raised to Seashell. The money he has donated will ensue that the children and young people here have the same opportunities as everyone else. This could be through providing specialist equipment, buildings or services. He is a real inspiration to his peers and everyone here is so grateful to him.”

Seashell Swim teaches children and adults of all ages and abilities to swim and holds parent and babies sessions. Find out more
