Lyme Design and Build's £4,000 for Seashell from golf day

Hazel Grove's Lyme Design and Build's inaugural golf day for Seashell Trust raised more than £4,000.

Around 60 clients, suppliers and employees of the construction firm played at the Hazel Grove Golf Club followed by a dinner with a silent auction and raffle.

Scott Wilson, co-owner of Lyme Design and Build, said: “After ten years in business, we have been looking to put something back into the community. We had a wonderful day and weather was beautiful. Some great golf was played but it was more about coming together to raise some money for a great cause rather than winning.”

Seashell Trust fundraiser Wendy Bray said: “We are so grateful to everyone at Lyme Design and Build and all who supported the day for raising so much money and really embracing our cause. It was a fantastic day and we can’t wait for next year!"
