Makaton Foundation Course

Dates: Monday 9th & Monday 16th October

Times: 09.30 – 16.00

Price: £120 for professionals, £60 for parents and carers

If you’re supporting a person with communication difficulties as a result learning disabilities, attending our Makaton foundation course could have a big impact. Being able to communicate is one of the most important skills we need in life and Makaton gives everyone a helping hand to talk. 

Children and adults are able to use its signs and symbols to communicate straight away. It’s designed to support spoken language and the signs and symbols are used with speech in spoken word order.

Using Makaton removes the frustration of being unable to communicate effectively with others, connecting individuals with the people and world around them and unlocking a whole host of possibilities.

This is a two day course with places offered at £120 for professionals and £60 for parent/ carers. Take a look at the course details.
