Cyclists: RideLondon 100 places on Team Seashell up for grabs

Seashell Trust has managed to bag five places in the prestigious cycling Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 100 event this year.
The sold-out sportive, which attracts around 25,000 amateur riders to the start line each year, takes place on Sunday, July 29
Following in the tyre tracks of the heroes of the 2012 Games, the leg-busting 100-mile route on closed roads will start in the iconic Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park and include the infamous Box Hill before finishing on The Mall.
The public ballot entry system has already closed with all 80,000 places snapped up.
Wendy Bray, fundraiser for Seashell Trust, said: “Places are like gold dust and sell out immediately so we are super chuffed. We know many cyclists in the North West would love to get their hands on a ticket. We are offering them an exclusive way into the cycling event of the year while helping give our students the wonderful life they deserve. Saddle up and join Team Seashell for this very special sportive.”
All the sponsorship raised will support our profoundly disabled students at our national centre of excellence in Cheadle Hulme, Stockport.
Children and young people from across the country come to live and learn in a secure and happy environment at the charity.
Registration fee for the Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 100 is £45 with a minimum sponsorship of £1,000.
