Boutique coffee company to fuel Seashell's sportive cyclists

Mobile coffee brewer Stomping Ground Coffee is the official provider of coffee for Seashell Trust's charity sportive this year.
The Seashell Trust sportive on Sunday, September 16, 2018 aims to attract up to 300 cyclists to enter one of four different routes that take in the beautiful countryside of Cheshire, the Peak District and Staffordshire.
Every penny raised from the event, organised entirely by a team of volunteers, goes to support our work educating and caring for profoundly and multiply-disabled children and young people who are also unable to communicate verbally.
James Ashford, who founded Stomping Ground Coffee in 2017 having left a career in planning and development, said: “As a keen cyclist myself and having visited Seashell Trust, I want my new business to make a contribution to the local community. The Seashell Trust sportive fulfils both of my passions; sharing my enjoyment of road cycling and fine coffee.”
The Stomping Ground Coffee distinctive van can be seen around Greater Manchester and will be serving coffee to entrants as they set off from our Cheadle Hulme campus and at one of the feed-stations at Flash in Staffordshire, the highest village in England.
