We’re delighted to announce that Seashell's Royal School Manchester and Children’s Residential Services have been awarded Advanced Status through the National Autistic Society’s Autism Accreditation programme.

Autism Accreditation recognised in particular that Seashell offers high quality, personalised programmes of educational and therapeutic support, with autism specific practices firmly embedded, whilst also noting that our individual curriculum approach ensures that teaching and learning takes into account our children and young people’s interests and development needs.

The Advanced Status award also recognises that Seashell has a considerable, positive impact on the lives of our children and young people, both as pupils and as they transition into adulthood.

Autism Accreditation is the UK’s only autism specific quality assurance programme of support and development for those who provide services to autistic individuals. As an internationally recognised quality standard, Autism Accreditation is the longest running programme in the world in autism accreditation expertise and we are honoured to have achieved Advanced Status.
