Finance Director

Mark joined the trust as Finance Director in January 2014.

Mark studied Economics at Sheffield University, trained and qualified as a Chartered Accountant with PwC in Manchester and worked overseas in Toronto, Canada between 1997 and 1999.

He left PwC as a Senior Audit and Assurance Manager in 2001 and since then has worked in a number of senior finance roles within the Financial Services sector in the North of England, ranging from a Group Financial Controller position for a FTSE250 listed plc, to Finance Director of start-up, private equity funded businesses, encompassing responsibility for operations, finance and IT.

Outside work, Mark is an active member of the Scouting movement and a keen sports fan.
