Peter joined the Royal College Governing body in March 2018.

Peter currently holds the role of Senior Policy Officer at the Information Commissioner's Office. He is a retired police officer and attained the rank of Superintendent. His final five years of service was spent in the Professional Standards Branch, dealing with police complaints and misconduct matters.

Peter is married with three children and his interests include cross-country running, football, hiking, and reading.
