College

Niall Smalley

Niall joined the Royal College Manchester Governing Body in November 2019, having worked at the Trust since 2013.

Niall has held a variety of roles within Seashell and currently works in Royal College Manchester as a Tutor on the Autism Course

In addition to Niall’s teaching role he oversees the vocational curriculum in college, which includes the dog grooming service, college car wash and on-site horticulture projects.

Niall is passionate about students being able to experience and engage in meaningful vocational activities in order to have greater opportunities when they leave the Trust.

Niall is currently studying for a Master’s Degree in Autism: Adult Studies through the University of Birmingham. His studies have a heavy focus on the benefits of meaningful vocational opportunities in reducing anxiety levels in those with a diagnosis of autism.
