TRISEASHELL 2015

We are delighted to announce the launch of the first ever annual TriSeashell 2015 event on Sunday, 13th September 2015 at Seashell Trust, Stanley Road, as we host a fully-inclusive community triathlon for people with learning disabilities and/or multisensory impairments. Prospective athletes are welcome to complete a triathlon (running, swimming and cycling), duathlon (any two of the three events) or a team relay (where three people each complete one of the events).

Specialist equipment available for the day includes changing tables, slings and hoists, and MOTOmed arm and leg bikes. We have a number of adapted bikes available for hire on the day, although we welcome athletes who bring their own equipment.

£10 entry (no charge to bring someone to support you), and we welcome the use of direct payments to cover entry and one to one support on the day. We're able to take payment by cash or cheque on the day, with cheques made payable to Seashell Trust. Just download the entry form and return it to maureen.wilkins@seashelltrust.org.uk by the 9th September (6th if you will need to hire cycling equipment).

We will also hold a 5k multi-terrain race, open to runners of all abilities, on the same day. See the Crazy Legs Events page here for more details about the race.
