'Despicable' fun as Tesco donates £250
10th September 2014
A supermarket marked its reopening celebration by donating £250 to Seashell Trust.
Students visited the refurbished Tesco at the Paddock in Handforth to join in the 'Despicable' fun. They enjoyed meeting a Minion from the film Despicable Me and trying out an Aston Martin for size as well as food tasting.
Wendy Bray, a fundraiser from Seashell Trust, said: “We have a really special relationship with this store as many of our students go there to learn life skills, such as shopping and managing money. They buy ingredients for their cookery class and cooking in their residential houses.”
