Choir kicks off World Cup fundraising for Seashell Trust

North West school children are daring to dream their World Cup song will score a lot of money for Seashell Trust.

The Everycolour Choir are hoping their song Dare To Dream is a hit with fellow pupils as Brazil kick off the World Cup 2014.

Project leader John Conibear said: “Dare To Dream is specially written for primary schools. With inspiring lyrics, a catchy tune and even a chant, it is a great way to keep your school cheering on England in Brazil.”

The song pack can be downloaded at everycolour.co.uk for £6, with £1 going to Seashell Trust.

As many of our students are deaf or hearing impaired there is an option to sign along with the chant in the song.

The song pack includes the full track, two backing tracks, sheet music, lyrics slides, lyrics sheet, signing sheet and a digital poster

John, who is based in Didsbury, said: “By making our song pack available online, our hope is to have primary schools throughout England singing Dare To Dream as their theme tune for the World Cup.

“Guaranteeing Seashell Trust £1 from each download is a great way to raise awareness about their fantastic work.

“We are also thrilled Kick It Out are supporting Everycolour and its inclusive message uniting all England supporters.

Pupils from three north west primary schools - Didsbury CE, Shevington Vale in Appley Bridge, Wigan and St Paul’s CE, Astley Bridge, Bolton – are also be writing an Everycolour World Cup blog.
