Can anyone access the fitness suite?

Yes the gym is fully accessible and is accredited by the Inclusive Fitness Initiative.

Is there a joining fee for the gym?

No there is no joining fee.

Can I come to the gym at any time?

Yes the gym is open 8am-9pm Monday to Friday and 10am-2.30pm on weekends, however if you require extra assistance there are set times in the gym where our fitness instructor will be present please check the timetable for times.

How do I book my child onto swimming lessons?

Please complete our online swimming enquiry form and as soon as a place becomes available a member of the swimming development team will contact you.

How long is the swimming lessons waiting list?

We are very busy at the moment and all of our lessons are fully booked. If you would like group lessons we will try our best to allocate you a space at the beginning of the next term. Unfortunately our waiting list for 1:1 lessons is a lot longer and it can be up to six months before we are able to book you in.

 Do I need to get in the water with my child?

In our parent and baby and parent and toddler classes parents will need to get in the pool to support during the lesson. In all of our swimming lessons the teacher will be in the water to support the children during the lesson.

What award scheme do you follow?

We follow the ASA award scheme and badges are awarded at the end of each term.

What is the cost of swimming lessons and how long do they last?

The cost of group lessons are £8.50 and 1:1 lessons cost £15.00 per 30 minute lesson and are held weekly during school term time usually 12/13 weeks and is payable termly in advance.

Can you arrange support for my child to attend CADS?

Yes we can arrange support for your child. We will need you to fill in a logbook so we have enough information about your child to arrange for the best support. We receive funding through Aiming High for people living in Stockport please contact the sports team for more details.

How do I book onto CADS?

Please complete our online booking form and call the office on 0161 696 9386  to make payment.  For CADS club please ring 0161 610 0122 to inform us you are planning on attending.
