Virtual Makaton Training: Levels 3 and 4

Levels 3 and 4 training follows on from the successful completion of Levels 1 and 2 (previously known as the Foundation Level). You will have the opportunity to revise signs and symbols from stages 1-4 of the Core Vocabulary and move on to learn and practise using signs and symbols from stages 5-8.

These workshops are delivered by Makaton Tutors who are part of the speech and language therapy outreach team.

The cost of the workshops includes tuition, Level 3 and 4 manuals and certificates of attendance from The Makaton Charity.

Virtual Makaton Taster Session

Our virtual taster session provides an introduction to Makaton and how it can support language and communication development. Participants will have an opportunity to learn a selection of 30 signs and symbols from the Makaton core vocabulary.

The session is aimed at those interested in finding out more about Makaton and who may be considering attenting further training workshops.

The arrival of October makes us think darker nights, crunching leaves and . . . pumpkins! This year, to cheer up what might be a locked down Halloween for many of us, we’re launching the Grand Seashell Pumpkin Carving Battle!

So get your creative thinking caps on for designs to take the title! Entry is open to anyone and we’ll have prizes for the following:
