Corporate support

We hope you that things at your business are going OK in such tough times. Despite our School and College being closed, we are still supporting a considerable number of our residents on site as well as offering daytime respite care and increased remote support to families with children and young people who have very complex disabilities. As you can imagine, this is a very worrying and isolating time for them.
If your company is looking to support a charity working on the frontline, to care for and protect very vulnerable young people through this crisis, please do consider supporting us. We have put together a number of ideas for remote fundraising and remote volunteering which you can download at the bottom of this page. We also have a list of projects that need funding right now. If you’d like to discuss, please do call Wendy Bray on 07960 010366 or email wendy.bray@seashelltrust.org.uk.
We are also still fundraising as usual for our ongoing costs and pieces of equipment/activities that are critical in the development of the children and young people here. Having lost around £300,000 in postponed events and fundraising, the support o0f corporate partners is now even more critical than ever in order to try and mitigate this. If you would like a copy of our ongoing wish list of items to fundraise for, please do let Wendy know.
Whether your company is large or small, local or national or whether a team of staff or the whole company wants to get involved, we would love to partner with you.
Below are some of the ways your company and employees can get involved with supporting Seashell Trust
We could not do the work we do without the support of businesses in our community. Partnering with local businesses is vital to Seashell Trust to ensure we continue to provide the children, young people and adults in our care with the very best facilities and life experiences possible.
Why support us?
Seashell Trust is open 365 days a year and is extremely costly to run. Many of the students need one-on-one round-the-clock care from highly trained and dedicated staff.
The staff at Seashell Trust work to ensure that the best possible care is given to our students. We have a national reputation for the care and attention we give to our children and young people, with students coming from all over the country. Ofsted has recently judged both Royal College Manchester and Royal School Manchester as ‘outstanding’ which demonstrates the commitment our staff have. The care and education of our students is funded by fees from local authorities, but we desperately need to raise more funds to ensure that we provide the best facilities and life experiences.
A tour around our special place is the best way to see how your support really makes a difference. To arrange a visit, please contact Wendy Bray on 0161 610 0168 or email wendy.bray@seashelltrust.org.uk
