We are passionate about the support we provide to children and young people with profound and complex needs.   Our school and college based provisions are both currently rated as Outstanding by Ofsted.  We are very proud of the positive outcomes achieved by the children and young people placed with us and which significantly supports them to make a successful transition to adult life.

Communication underpins everything we do. In order to meet the diverse needs of the children and young people for whom we provide support, we have adopted a total communication approach incorporating sign, speech, symbols (including PECS), objects of reference, photographs and real objects as appropriate to support the learning of the individual.

Our Residential Care Services are equally well regarded and our children’s and young people’s care are both currently rated as Good by Ofsted and the CQC respectively.

We are also well regarded for our work within the local community and we are proud to have been voted ‘Best Not for Profit’ organisation at the Stockport Business Awards 2016.  

We recognise that our services need to be accessible to parents, carers and professionals.   We are close to all major road, rail and air networks which means parents, carers and professionals can easily reach us.   Parents, carers and professionals are encouraged to visit whenever possible and accommodation can be provided on site to make visits easier.
